About Hidden Canada project
Virtual panoramic photography in full HD quality has existed for about 10 years and is now booming. There are no other media or photography techniques that “immerse” the spectator so fully in the scene as this does. Virtual panoramic photography involves getting a complete view of a landscape or an interior as a whole as opposed to "reconstructing" the scene piece by piece with a series of still pictures or videos. You and only you have full control over the image as you explore the panoramic view. You may stay "within" the scene as long as you want, look deep into the details, "step back" or "turn around" to view more of the scene. You do not need to adjust to the photographer's view or to follow the rhythm of the camera operator. No one but you defines the view and rhythm...

No other media has the tremendous potential that virtual panoramas have. It is the ideal imaging mode for displaying the interior of a restaurant, hotel, concert hall or cathedral, or for viewing a landscape. Multiple panoramas can be connected with each other by clearly visible links, allowing the visitor to travel through them in a "virtual tour”. The media takes only seconds to immerse the visitor in your environment.

Hidden Canada is a top-level commercial panoramic imaging provider. We produce full-sphere panoramas and virtual tours in Full HD quality that provide a prospective visitor with complete information and the most accurate view of your environment in the shortest possible time. Virtual panoramas have unique advertising potential. Explore this Web Site to see it!

Our hiddencanada.ca web site displays our world-class panoramas of the many wonderful views and landmarks of Canada. We have started from the Ottawa Valley, where we live, and are expanding the coverage. The web site is Google Map based and displays name, location (GPS), description and panorama(s) for each site.

We can provide an additional service to our users, by linking panoramas of their business and services to natural or historical site locations and provide detailed directions, travel time and distance information, from each attraction to the business or service selected. New customers are made aware of local businesses and perhaps plan a short side trip to your service or business.

If you are new to virtual imaging, here's how it works! Panorama controls are located at the bottom of the image window. Control functions include: Pan Left/Right, Tilt Up/Down, Zoom In/Out, Full Screen On/Off and Auto Rotate On/Off. These functions can also be controlled using the mouse. Just click on the image, hold the left mouse button down and drag the "virtual camera" in the desired direction. You can use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Have fun and enjoy the many beautiful views of Canada!
